Photoshop is often used professionally to make banners and posters for events. This can showcase the creativity of ourselves or of a certain company by how they cater every little thing to accentuate their theme or their values in some way. My favorite use of Photoshop within marketing, is using it for social justice and advocacy. The World Wildlife Fund has some of the best social and environmental justice marketing I've come across. *All these images are copyrighted to the World Wildlife Fund. The power of these images owe it the mastery of photoshop to create a combination of photos to show the state of our actions and reminds us that things we do have consequences. We are forced to confront it in a different way than before when we see the trail of blood from our suitcase at the airport, or our earth melting on top of an ice cream cone. Where I come in: Even though my photoshop skills and marketing ideas aren't as advanced as those on the marketing team at WWF, my skills are advanced enough where I can successfully edit botched photos by correcting angles, fixing color discrepancies, and even change the color scheme of a photograph or picture. I can creature text effects using multiple layers, and stuff. I can combine two photos successfully into one that looks natural. My skills will be useful to any agency because I know my way around Photoshop and those skills combined with my creativity, I can help design anything from fliers, posters, banners, and websites.
